This week

was a good week. Like what jia jun was sharing in cell today. It was a productive week. Yes it was.

I had things to plan for, stuff pertaining yfc, church, soccer and outings.

In other good news, we have a new member in my cell today. His name is jia jun, errr he is from our church’s youth soccer team. But for some reason he isnt in any cell group. It was pretty cool how he came to join my cell group.

The week before, gabriel ee was coaxing him to come to church and jia jun didnt really feel like it. I think somehow he just gave in and came for service. As i was playing saboteur with my kids, he came up to me and said hi and everything. I was pleasantly surprised to see him, for the boys in my cell always invited him for church and finally he came!

Haha sooo he sat with me during service and the coolest thing was that the sermon was sooooo applicable for him. It was on the topic of cell groups and how important it was for people to be in cell groups.

Jj was like, eh alex i really think this sermon is for me. I was like ofcourse!!!!! of all the sundays he choose to come to church haha. Sooo i invited him to our cell.

And he joined us for the first time today. I think he will fit in just nicely, he knows most of the guys and surprisingly pet as well. Yeah… after cell when we were taking the same mrt back, he was sharing how he liked the cell and found the lesson to be really interactive, how he had more things to do and plan now after being slowly integrated into the church. Oh he’s in sports ministry as well. Previously, he felt that after his collar bone surgery he was just going through the motions of life, but now he has found a new purpose, God and his kingdom.

hmmm i remember the days when i felt like that. Haha i still do! I look forward to every single cell session.

Really thankful for God for bringing him back into church.

Really glad our cell is both growing in numbers, being more rooted in Christ and also the depth of our sharing. Haha cant wait to see what God has in store for ocean for the rest of the year.

Other than a hell lot of 21st birthdays.

Speaking of 21st birthdays, i feel like getting baptized on my birthday haha. Just a thought.
